Landscaper Insurance Group is the green-industry brand of The Allen Thomas Group, an independent agency that opened in 2003. We help landscaping, lawn care and grounds maintenance companies in 28 states buy insurance that matches the work their crews really do.
Who we are
Landscaper Insurance Group is a brand of The Allen Thomas Group, an independent insurance agency headquartered in Akron, Ohio. The agency opened in 2003 and holds licenses in 28 states under National Producer Number 7642818. We are an agency, not an insurance company. We don't issue policies; we help you compare the carriers that do and set up the coverage your business needs.
We built this site for one reason: landscaping companies are often insured as if they were generic contractors. A mowing route, a hardscape crew and a fertilizer-and-weed-control business share a truck and a trailer, but they carry different risks, fall under different class codes and appeal to different insurers. Writing them all the same way is how owners end up with a policy that excludes the very services they sell.

Carriers we work with include Chubb, Travelers, The Hartford, Liberty Mutual, Nationwide, Progressive, Cincinnati Insurance, Auto-Owners, AmTrust and Western Reserve Group.
